The search for a gunman got underway in Antioch after an alleged drug deal.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the victim claims the suspect came into his Chimney Top apartment complex to either buy or sell drugs.
However, the victim got more of a transaction than he bargained for – police said the gunman robbed him of his phone and about $200 cash.
Then he shot the victim in the leg.
Detectives were called to the scene to investigate. The victim was reportedly being cooperative.
He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is expected to survive.
