Police said they’re looking for the gunman responsible for a late-night, shootout north of Nashville.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday in an area near Poplar Place and Maple Place.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said a man in a white Ford Mustang was driving down Poplar Place when he was shot at by another person.
According to officers, the driver turned left onto Maple Place and stopped at a person's driveway after the apparent shooting.
A bullet hole pierced the backseat window of the car. Officers also found shell casings from two different guns, which leads them to believe it may have been a shootout.
No injuries were reported. Investigators said the victim wasn't providing very much information.
