One thing a lot of people have been thinking about when there’s talk about adding more hotels in Nashville has been the traffic.

There's no denying the existing roads have been set to only get more crowded.

So what's the solution? In January, Governor Bill Haslam touched on transit needs saying the state is a partner for cities.

The state has needed to be involved in coming up with a plan that works for the Mid-State.

“We've got to figure out some way to address mass transit and be able to not just build more roads and bigger and wider roads because that won't solve our problem, but to look, to start to talk about, public transportation,” the governor said.

The Governor has not mentioned any specific plans, but the state has been set to hear more from him in his State of the State address planned for 6 p.m. Monday, which can be seen live online and on NewsChannel 5+.
