Officials said the water on Wilburn Hollow Road and other areas that were flooded has now receded.

In Pleasant Shade, a portion of Bowman Branch Lane has been washed out.

EMS crews said they are sticking around in the low lying areas due to the potential for more rain.

In Trousdale County, a bridge on Chipman Road off Highway 231 has been washed out at the county line near Bethpage. The National Weather Service has also reported that Highway 25 is closed in Hartsville.

According to the school district's website, Trousdale County Schools are closed for the day.

Officials with the Macon County Highway Department urged motorists not to travel unless absolutely necessary. They said several roads are flooded and impassable.
