Hankook Tire has been set to begin the process of building its workforce in Tennessee.
Those with the company have scheduled a career information fair for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in the 600 block of Commerce Street. The fair was set to be held in rooms 205 and 206.
Representatives with the company first announced the location of its American corporate headquarters in Nashville in April. They have also planned a manufacturing facility in Clarksville.
According to reports, the company has been looking to hire salaried employees for both locations.
They added they would hire around 100 new employees by the end of 2016 with that number increasing to 2,000 by 2020.
The candidates they’re searching for need to have experience with marketing, sales, logistics, supply chain management, IT, and technical service.
Engineering position were also set to be available, as well as human resources, accounting, finance, and administration.
As far as experience, representatives said they’re searching for people with entry level to senior level qualifications.
During the fair, company executive presentations have been planned to take place at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 2 p.m.
The free event has been set to require advanced registration.
