The Battle of Nashville took place on December 15, 1864, and people came together to remember the historic event.
Saturday's event was called a "living history" experience.
People got to see demonstrations on the battlefield and more.
There was even a question and answer session with someone dressed as President Abraham Lincoln.
The 152nd anniversary event was set to continue throughout the day on Sunday at Fort Negley.
