Musician and songwriter Kim Williams has passed away, according to multiple reports.
Representatives with SESAC wrote about Williams’ passing on social media and added, “Thank you for all the amazing songs you brought into the world.”

Williams was famous for many hit songs including “Ain’t Goin’ Down Till the Sun Comes Up,” “Papa Loved Mama,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.”
The songwriter had hits with artists such as Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Joe Diffie, and Rascal Flatts.
Williams was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.
He passed away at the age of 68.
