Human remains found inside a burned vehicle in Christian County, Kentucky, Thursday have been determined to be that of two people.
The investigation into the remains led police to a find another body that day at a Christian County home.
Captain Chris Miller told NewsChannel 5 the bodies were so badly burned DNA test will have to confirm their identities, which could take up to 3 weeks to get the results back from the lab.
Officials traced the car to a home at 443 South Main Street. Inside the house they found the body of a man, with a gunshot wound to the chest. Deputies spent several hours at the house Thursday investigating the crime scene.
The identity of the third body found inside the home on Main Street has also not been identified.
Authorities have begun pursuing leads, by talking to witnesses, but have not made an arrest.
