Despite the revisions to President Donald Trump’s travel ban, groups like the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, also known as TIRRC, said the order was still a Muslim ban.
The group added the President's administration has been quote "intent on taking a wrecking ball to the Statue of Liberty."
The coalition held a forum Monday night to discuss the President's recent executive orders, in particular, enforcing the deportation of undocumented immigrants.
TIRRC officials said they want the local government and communities to work together to protect residents and restore trust.
