Fourth of July celebrations started early with the largest indoor fireworks show in Tennessee.
Cornerstone Church in Madison has been putting on the annual event. The show started 15 years ago after a fireworks display with the church was rained out.
To avoid canceling future shows, they turned it into a free indoor event. This year's theme was called “Hello Summer."
Fireworks were set off while a variety of summer songs played.
“We are probably the only indoor fireworks in Tennessee according to the guy that does our pyro at this level, and so come expecting something spectacular, come expecting something fun for the family, and just sit back and enjoy the creativity that God has given us,” said Galen Davis.
The event also honored local law enforcement agencies. The last show was scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday.
