Police are looking for the person who shot one of the owners of the Bar-B-Cutie restaurant in South Nashville.
Officials said the incident happened around 2 p.m. Sunday at the restaurant in the 5200 block of Nolensville Pike.
According to reports, two teen suspects shot the restaurant owner's wife, 52-year-old Annie McFarland, while she was in her vehicle in the parking lot, before stealing from her.
The suspect allegedly shot McFarland in the face. According to McFarland, the suspect with the gun didn't say anything before firing at her, striking her in the chin, grabbing the deposit bag she had, and fleeing with an accomplice.
McFarland was found by someone who had been in the drive-thru and heard gunshots.

The manager of the restaurant, Tammie Cherry, couldn't believe the news when she heard it. “Just the wrong person to do it to," Cherry explained. "She doesn’t deserve this."
Cherry said McFarland was loved by all of the customers, and that showed when the restaurant reopened on Monday. “Every customer is come in and has asked, ‘how’s she doing?’" Cherry said. "We just told them, you know, she’s stable and she’ll be fine.”
Cherry said the restaurant will continue to serve it's customers just as McFarland would do if she wasn't in the hospital. “It’s a shocker to us and a lot of the customers are very concerned about her well-being, but we’re pushing through and we’re here for everybody in the community.”
Authorities described the suspects as young black men wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black pants.
The suspects were able to get away on foot and allegedly fled to a nearby apartment complex.
