Quick thinking by corrections officers stopped an inmate from another escape.
Arthur Milks tried to escape Thursday from the Turney Center Industrial Complex by hiding near his work detail location.
Officers noticed he was missing at roll call and immediately sprung into action locking down the facility.
They confirmed they caught him a short time later.
Although Milks managed to escape from a county facility in 2010, officers wanted to stress that this time he never left the secure prison.
Milks has been serving time for felony theft, burglary, and vandalism from multiple counties.
