Most people have seen Robo Cop and Iron Man, now they can meet the newest crime fighter in Nashville.
In a meeting with officers and officials Friday, the Crime Stoppers division of the police department introduced Captain Crime Stopper - a new promotion tool to try and reconnect officers with the community.

“Captain Crime Stopper is a new way that we want to benchmark our existence in Nashville and connect with our younger generations of children, our kids, and take him into schools and stuff and just educate them that Crime Stoppers is a good program and we’re a viable partner for the Nashville Police Department,” said Dewayne Duhon, of St. Thomas Hospitals Security.
Officials said Captain Crime Stopper does not have any real super powers, but he is tech-savvy.
He has been equipped with an iPad so he can pull up the stats and ongoing events of Crime Stoppers and the Crime Stoppers of Nashville webpage.
Authorities said he's also friendly, so if anyone sees him out, don't hesitate to get your picture taken with him.
