Jazz aficionados gathered at Fisk University in Nashville for the second annual Fisk Food and Music Festival.
The festival featured performances by jazz artists like the Hamilton Brothers and Lindsey Webster.
Festival goers had the chance to enjoy games, local vendors, and food trucks.
Sharon Kay, an organizer of the event, said she wants the festival to promote togetherness within the community.
"Most people in the community go outside of the community for everything, but I want them to walk from their houses and apartments in this neighborhood and come on over,” Kay said.
The free festival was scheduled to wrap up at 9 p.m. Saturday.
