A jury will likely be seated soon in the trial of a man accused in a series of murders and attempted murders in downtown Nashville.

Those crimes happened years ago, but Christopher Crowley's trial was continued because of mental evaluations.

Metro Police investigated Crowley for several crimes in which homeless men were shot.

Most recently, Crowley was accused of murdering 41-year-old Robert Mitchell.

Mitchell was shot in the head as he slept on a bench at 3rd Avenue North and James Robertson Parkway in 2012.

The jury has been expected to be selected Monday.
