A place usually lit by stadium lights was illuminated with red, yellow, and white lanterns.
The display was for the annual "Light the Night" walk at Nissan Stadium.
Thousands gathered for the two-mile walk Friday night to help raise money for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
Actor and singer Charles Esten was there supporting his daughter, Addie, who’s a cancer survivor.
“And you know that not only are these people all coming together for good reasons and out of love and out of caring, but it is actually making a difference,” Esten said. “Theres been so many advances in the field of blood cancer and any advance in the field of blood cancer, because maybe it's so elemental, it tends to be very important to the rest of the cancer battles as well, so it's pure goodness happening tonight."
In honor of the event, local landmarks around Nashville were lit up in red Friday night.
