A lot of good food and flavor was being enjoyed this weekend.
The Tennessee Local Food Summit wrapped up its three-day conference in Nashville Sunday.
Organizers at Tennessee State University celebrated local food by educating attendees on how to increase local food production and consumption.
There were workshops to attend and food demonstrations held by local chefs.
"But then we also have a whole marketing one going on with people talking about the marketing issues, the legal issues involved in raising food, how to put these food hubs together," said Jeff Poppen, a local farmer.
The conference wrapped up Sunday at Green Door Gourmet where participants toured the farm and retail shop.
