A man was placed behind bars after a Metro police officer was dragged through a parking lot on an ATV.
Authorities found several people driving ATVs through the parking lot at Nissan Stadium after the Tennessee State University homecoming game Saturday night, which was not allowed.
Officer Timothy Powell put his hand on Dennis Dickson's ATV to stop him from leaving, but the officer said Dickson sped off, dragging him some 25 feet through the parking lot.
Dickson was charged with aggravated assault.
The officer was not seriously hurt.
