Officials with the Smyrna Police Department said they’re trying to identify potential victims after a man was arrested for taking pictures of women and children in a public park restroom.
Police said several of the images were taken at Volunteer Park in Smyrna and police have been looking for victims to come forward.
William Ted Davis was arrested in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Authorities there confiscated his computer in a separate case, but when they searched the computer, they found footage of women and children inside bathrooms at the park on 8th Avenue in Smyrna.
Detectives found out about this case on April 1, and they've done a sweep of park bathrooms to look for recording devices.
Police said it appears Davis put up the video device and then took it down before nightfall.
If you’re concerned that you or your child may have been filmed by the suspect, police have asked you to send them a picture, so they can compare it to the pictures Davis took. You can email Detective Allan Nabours of the Smyrna Police Department at allan.nabours@townofsmyrna.org.
Officials said they will alert you if you’re a victim, and it will help them build a case.
Davis has now also been charged by police in Smyrna for especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor which is a felony.
He was being held on a $100,000 bond.
