Disturbing allegations involving date rape drugs have caused a man to face charges.
Joshua L. Shannon, age 38, was booked in jail with several felony drug charges.
He has been accused of having about one and a half gallons of GHB, a depressant used in medical settings, but has been commonly known as the date rape drug. GHB stands for gamma hydroxybutyric. For more information on this drug, click here.

Police said he had it with the intent to sell, deliver, or manufacture.
There were also pills and other drug paraphernalia.
Shannon was arrested Thursday night and was being held on a $180,000 bond.
