A man has passed away after injuries sustained during an incident with a golf cart over the weekend, and a woman has been charged with vehicular assault and DUI.
That crash happened Saturday night on Albatross Way in Gallatin.
Officials with the Gallatin Police Department said 60-year old Timothy Doyle was injured in a crash. He was transported by LifeFlight medical helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries Tuesday.
Police in Gallatin confirmed Timothy's wife, 55-year-old Lori Doyle, has been arrested and charged with vehicular assault and DUI.
Details about exactly what happened were not available.
Investigators said the investigation was ongoing.
