A man accused in a series of murders downtown has been found guilty.
Officials said Christopher Crowley was found guilty of first degree murder by a jury Wednesday.
Crowley was accused in multiple murders and attempted murders in downtown Nashville. The jury in his trial was seated in late June.
Those crimes happened years ago, but Crowley's trial was continued because of mental evaluations.
Metro Police investigated Crowley for several crimes in which homeless men were shot.
Most recently, Crowley was accused of murdering 41-year-old Robert Mitchell.
Mitchell was shot in the head as he slept on a bench at 3rd Avenue North and James Robertson Parkway in 2012.
Crowley's sentencing date had not yet been set.
