A man showed up at an area hospital after getting shot in the face north of Nashville.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the shooting happened in the 3500 block of Slate Drive.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday, the victim showed up at TriStar Skyline Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the face.
According to police, he was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.
His injuries were not life-threatening.
Details of the shooting were unclear at this time.
Detectives said the victim is not cooperating with officers, which makes the process of finding out what happened even more difficult.
Police were interviewing his roommates, hoping to find out more information.
