A suspect who was taken into custody after a standoff in east Nashville has been linked to a violent home invasion.
Keanthony Williams was arrested early Tuesday morning following a standoff on Boscobel Street.
According to an affidavit from Metro Nashville Police, the 24-year-old broke into a home on Shawnee Road back in March.
He was reportedly armed with an AK-47 and forced the resident into a back room where he demanded she open a safe.
After she did, he allegedly hit her in the back of the head with the butt of the rifle.
Police later got a tip that he was hiding inside a home on Boscobel Street. After a standoff, he was taken into custody.

He has been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.
