A 27-year-old man was ran over and dragged by his own vehicle, according to police in Franklin.
Authorities said the incident happened around 4:43 p.m. Wednesday when the man got out of his vehicle to check under the hood. Reports stated he was having car trouble.
Officers said the man forgot to put the vehicle in park, and when he tried to stop it from rolling, he fell.
The vehicle ran over him and dragged him, leaving him injured in the road. The vehicle then crashed into a nearby construction project.
According to authorities, the man’s injuries were minor. He was taken to the Williamson Medical Center where he was treated and released.
