Man Injured In South Nashville Shooting

A man was injured in an overnight shooting south of Nashville.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said a 36-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday night.

He was found in the 100 block of Charles E. Davis Boulevard at the J.C. Napier housing complex, just south of downtown Nashville.

At this time, police said it's unclear if he was shot in that location or if he was transported there.

Someone reportedly called 911 around 10:45 p.m. to report a gunshot victim.

The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but was not cooperating with detectives.

No suspects have been taken into custody.
