Police have asked the public’s help for more information after a man was shot while walking to his home north of Nashville.
The incident happened late Thursday night along Chesapeake Drive, located not far from Brick Church Pike.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the 32-year-old victim was shot in the back at least once.
Multiple shell casings were found on the ground at the scene.
At this time, police said they do not have a suspect description.
The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he is expected to survive.
