A suspect charged in a sexual assault case remained at large, according to officials.
Authorities with the Hendersonville Police Department said they were notified of a sexual assault and domestic-related aggravated assault on Hickory Heights Drive.
The victim was interviewed by police, and authorities said they determined a search warrant was needed to collect evidence inside the home where multiple weapons were located.
Detectives said there was a heightened risk in the case and several failed attempts to contact the suspect, 32-year-old Danny Dunn.
The SWAT team executed the search warrant at the home after seven other homes in the area were evacuated to ensure the public’s safety.
The evidence collected was enough to charged Dunn with one count of rape and one count of aggravated assault.
Authorities said Dunn was still at large, and they have requested the public’s assistance in finding him.
Anyone with information on Dunn’s whereabouts has been urged to contact the Hendersonville Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 615-573-5400.
