Man Sought In Madison Dollar General Robbery

Detectives in Madison have been searching for the identity of a man who robbed a local store.

The incident happened at 8:40 p.m. Thursday at the Dollar General on Dickerson Pike.

Reports stated the man went into the store and picked up a bag of candy.

He then took the candy to the counter, and when the clerk opened the cash register, he pulled out a pistol, demanding money.

After the clerk complied, the suspect fled to Darbytown Drive and got in a four-door sedan.

He was wearing a dark zip-up hoodie and a Jacksonville Jaguars hat.
