Man Wanted, Allegedly Shot At Ex-Girlfriend

Arrest warrants have been issued for a man who has been accused of attempting to shoot his ex-girlfriend.

Officials said 35-year-old Francisco Omar Tomayo has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.

The incident happened in the early morning hours of May 7 inside the south Nashville home of Tomayo’s ex-girlfriend.

According to reports, the 34-year-old victim said she heard her bedroom window break, and then she saw Tomayo standing outside pointing a gun at her.

The victim told police she asked Tomayo to leave. That’s when he allegedly fired the gun after saying if he couldn’t be with her, no one could.

Police confirmed the victim was not struck. She then fled to another room and called police.

Tomayo has been described as an Hispanic male, standing 5’5” tall and weighing 145 pounds. Authorities added he may be driving a cream-colored Chrysler 300.
