A 70-year-old man with early-onset dementia has been found safe the morning after he was reported missing in Bedford County.
Officials with the Bedford County Sheriff's Office said Danny Waggoner was last seen leaving his home on Sub Station Road at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Several hours later, a community member spotted him after seeing various media reports.
He was later found in the Unionville area near 41-A North.
Investigators said he was returned safely to his home.
