A march was held in Nashville against gun violence.

The group made its way to Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church where grieving families talked about their loss.

Saturday's march was put on by the group "Partners in the Struggle" and drew the attention
of Mayor Megan Barry.

“I think what you see is that anytime we have a gun violent death, it's one too many, and so I want to see that number go down,” Mayor Barry said. “There's never a good number.”

The mayor pointed out we have an excellent police force that spends a lot of time on closing cases.

She said solving those crimes won't bring their loved ones back, but maybe it'll give the families justice.
