Officials with the Franklin Police Department said they’re searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at a restaurant.
The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. Saturday at the Hardee’s in the 1300 block of Murfreesboro Road.
Authorities said a masked gunman went into the restaurant and ordered the employees to get on the ground. He then robbed the business and employees of cash and valuables.
No customers were inside the restaurant at the time of the robbery, and no injuries were reported.
On Sunday, officials described the suspect as standing between 5’1’’ and 5’3’’ tall. He was driving a red car and was being considered armed and dangerous.
