A fire forced a family out of their home on the coldest night yet this season.
Firefighters got the call around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and found smoke and big flames when they got to the house on Maynard Court, northwest of the city.
It took hours for crews to put the fire out. The roof and second floor collapsed in the process.
Luckily the family had working smoke alarms. All four of them, plus their two pets, got out safely.
The home was a total loss, and investigators have been working to find out what caused the fire.
