One year ago, Megan Barry was sworn in as the Mayor of Nashville.
Sunday marked one year since her inauguration ceremony at the Music City Center.
She said since taking office, the unemployment and poverty rates have dropped, and construction permits have continued to set records.
On her Facebook page, she posted a statement:
"We've made some great progress in the last year, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us to ensure that all Nashvillians benefit from our economic success."
