Schools in Montgomery County will open after an electrical storm moved through the area.
The storm moved through Clarksville Tuesday night and knocked out the district’s severs.
The outage prevented administrators from accessing important services, including phones and bus routes.
There was some uncertainty if schools would be able to open Wednesday but officials with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System gave the all clear after the issue was fixed.
According to the district, people had been up all night trying get the server back up and running.
The district did apologize earlier on its Facebook page, calling the situation a “terrible inconvenience” for parents.
Parents and guardians should be getting a phone call, if they haven't already, letting them know that school would be in session today.
