The mother of a 12-year-old boy who allegedly shot a classmate to death in Tennessee has been facing charges.
News reports said Jennifer Ann Amacher was indicted on five reckless endangerment charges following an incident at her Estill Springs home. Those with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office said Amacher's son shot and killed 11-year-old Sienna Owens in Amacher's garage December 11, 2015.
The indictments against Amacher were handed up following the May term of the county grand jury. The Tullahoma News reported she faces five counts because five juveniles were present at the time of the shooting. Authorities said Amacher was home when the shooting occurred.
Her son has been facing a juvenile petition of reckless homicide.
Amacher was free on $15,000 bond. She has been scheduled to appear in court May 13.
