More than one tow truck was needed to haul-away the multiple vehicles involved in a crash at Charlotte Pike and Interstate 40 West.
Authorities confirmed several vehicles were involved in the wreck Saturday afternoon, and they also added multiple people were injured.
Police had not released how serious those injuries were.
Crews were able to clear the area to get traffic moving again. No further details were available.
