Joe Brandon Jr., a well-known Murfreesboro-based attorney, has died.
According to the Daily News Journal, Brandon died unexpectedly from a heart attack, Thursday evening.
Brandon was best known for his involvement in high-profile cases, like the Shanterrica Madden murder trial.
He was also involved in the Murfreesboro Mosque lawsuit.
Funeral arrangements were expected to be announced later Friday morning.
