Police in Murfreesboro said they’re searching for a missing 16-year-old.
According to reports, Brittany Barker was in DCS custody. She had been released to her mother to be taken to a Mt. Juliet facility on September 3.
Reports stated Barker jumped out of the vehicle and ran away.
Authorities said Barker was entered into NCIC as a missing juvenile and has not been located. Reports said she's possibly headed to Hermitage.
Barker has been described as a white female, standing around 5’2’’ and weighing approximately 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Officials stated she also has tattoos, including Roman numerals on her right forearm.
