Music Lovers Enjoy Uncle Dave Macon Days

There’s nothing like a little Tennessee Waltz, which can be found at Uncle Dave Macon Days down in Murfreesboro.

Friday, musicians went to the fun event to play and compete.

“I love the kids’ categories,” said musician Nick Bryant. “I love they give the kids a chance to get up. They’ve worked hard all year long, and it lets them get up and perform, show what they’ve done.”

For those who love a good old-fashioned hoe down, this has always been the festival to attend.

The festival has been set to continue through Saturday. It’s located at Cannonsburgh Village in the 300 block of South Front Street behind the Camino Real Restaurant.
