It was 615 Day, and Nashvillians celebrated all things in the area code 615.

In East Nashville, Project 615, Lightning 100, and some of Nashville's finest artists partied all day on Thursday, June 15.

American Idol contestant and Nashville-based artist Paul McDonald joined ten other local bands, food vendors, and artisans for a block party on Fatherland Street to show their appreciation for the city's art culture.

What better day to do that than on 6/15?

"The art scene here in Nashville is thriving whether it’s music, food, arts, everything,” McDonald said. “It's a beautiful place to be, and we're all lucky to be a part of this amazing city."

Project 615 also offered a 15-percent discount on sale items to celebrate the day.
