A local lawmaker has been taking a stand to make sure fans get concert tickets at a fair price.
Tuesday, Representative Marsha Blackburn met with the Federal Trade Commission to talk about her legislation that would prevent scalpers from using software to scoop up tickets online and sell them at an inflated price.
She called the measure the Better Online Ticket Sales Act of 2016, or the "BOTS Bill" for short.
Blackburn's plan has been part of a larger package of bills aimed at overhauling outdated FTC regulations.
