As Music City continued to get closer to the big New Year's Eve Bash on Broadway, a very important guest made its first appearance in Nashville.
Sunday afternoon crews worked to assemble and install the star of Music City's New Year’s celebration: the music note!
The giant eighth-note has now been positioned on a 145-foot tower down on Broadway, where it will hang out until making the big drop at midnight Thursday.
This year's New Year’s celebration has been expected to be the biggest ever with an estimated 150,000 people attending the event.
