The NewsChannel 5 Network was honored with three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards on Tuesday by the Radio Television Digital News Association.
The NewsChannel 5 Investigates series, "Building Boom Town" won for "News Series."
The stories by investigative reporter Ben Hall, producer Kevin Wisniewski, photojournalist Mike Rose and graphic artist Terrence Boyce prompted change to Nashville's controversial TIF tax and revealed that many downtown buildings are essentially off the property tax rolls and contribute little to essential city services.

NewsChannel 5 reporter Chris Conte won for the "Writer" category. His entry, "Chris Conte Composite," was composed of three different stories reported on NewsChannel 5 throughout 2015.
