No one was injured after a fire broke out inside a family’s home in Brentwood.

The incident happened around 1:40 a.m. Monday at a residence on Evergreen Court.

First responders arrived in 14-degree temperatures to find the rear of the structure fully involved.

The family was alerted to the blaze by smoke detectors inside the home. Both parents and their children were able to escape safely.

It took firefighters nearly an hour to battle the flames. However, the home was considered a total loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
