Officer Adopts Puppy Left At Animal Hospital

The White House Animal Hospital discovered a lethargic puppy on its doorstep, but there was a happy ending.

They checked their security camera and found out the puppy had been dropped off around 8 p.m. Saturday night.

The puppy survived the cold night, and an officer with the White House Police Department, Ryan Spraggins, has decided to adopt her.

“As soon as I saw her, I wanted to take her home,” Spraggins said. “I have a German Shepherd at home right now, and she has that German Shepherd face, so I was really excited to get to take her home.”

White House Police said as of now they're not investigating the drop-off because the puppy was left with a blanket in a crate where she had shelter.
