Online Video Shows Reckless Driver In Franklin

Posted

A Nashville man was set to appear in court Thursday afternoon after a social media video revealed his dangerous driving.

Officials said 18-year-old Ahmad Mouzory left a car show on Frazier Drive in Franklin around 11 a.m. on November 7.

Mouzory allegedly accelerated rapidly, lost control, spun out, and landed in the median.

Authorities said he left the scene and did not report the crash to police.

The Instagram video below confirmed reports of his recklessness, and he was charged on November 15 with reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, and failure to report a crash.

Police in Franklin said they’ve increased officer presence at car shows due to spectators routinely encouraging drivers leaving the event to peel out.

“In an effort to safeguard innocent bystanders, our enforcement surrounding these events will be very zero-tolerance,” Lieutenant David Prather of FPD’s Traffic Unit said.
