The city hasn't stopped with renovations at Centennial Park. They’ve planned to move on to phase two.
Friday, NewsChannel 5 got a look at some of the plans to further enhance the park that has been home to Nashville's Parthenon.
This project has included enhancing and putting a new trail around Lake Watauga, improving the soil and drainage system on the lawn where the craft fair has been held, and improving the bandshell area.
Reports have stated phase two will cost $22 million.
Some of that will be city money with council approval, but private donors have also been chipping in money, as well.
Construction has been set to begin next fall.
