A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a pickup truck crashed into him on Bell Road late Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department, 68-year-old Ference Molnar had blood shot watery eyes, slurred speech, unsteady on his feet, and had an odor of alcohol when officers responded.
The motorcyclist was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police said Molnar admitted to drinking beers earlier in the afternoon.
The affidavit suggested Molnar did poorly during his sobriety tests and claimed to call them "stupid" before refusing to complete.
Molnar was taken into custody and charged with vehicular assault and driving on a revoked license.
He was being held on a $75,000 bond.
As of Wednesday morning, the motorcyclist was listed in critical but stable condition.
Just three miles down Bell Road, a single-motorcycle crash killed one person a few hours later.
